Vice Chairman of Organization for Fighting Against Baseless Armenian Allegations (ASIMED), Dr. Savas Egilmez stated that terrorist organization is under the pressure of Kurdish groups in Iran, Syria, Turkey and Northern Iraq. “PKK chose Armenia, especially Nagorno-Karabakh as its new base,” said he.

Stressing that Azerbaijan should take moreprecautions against terrorist organization that struggles to settle in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan, Egilmez said, “There are some mistakes in the policy of Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh. The most important mistakes are unnecessary reactions of Azerbaijani officials against Turkey. Azerbaijan should take tougher measures against terrorist organization PKK which cannot any more move freely in the triangle of Syria, Nothern Iraq and Iran. Doing so, settlement of PKK terrorists in the lands of Azerbaijan could be prevented. If not, Azerbaijan will herself get sick with this virus.”

Egilmez said that Armenia should leave so called Armenian genocide allegations and should solve the dispute with Azerbaijan on Karabakh to be able to establish good relations with Turkey. Stressing that the region is strategical for Turkey, Egilmez said that PKK is being expelled byKurdish groups in Iran, Syria, Turkey and Northern Iraq. “Terrorist organization chose Nagorno-Karabakh as its new base,” said he.

Egilmez said, “Nagorno-Karabakh was chosen because it is out of Turkey’s direct contact and because Armenia can supply the organization easily.” < Prev   Next >
