Organization for International Strategic Studies in Ankara conducted a survey, as a result of which 19.5 percent of respondents consider Azerbaijan the main ally of Turkey, AzerTAj state news agency reported with reference to the Internet edition of Todayszaman.
The survey was conducted in 2009 amongst 2,000 inhabitants of Ankara, Istanbul, Adana and Trabzon. According to the survey, Azerbaijan is followed by Bosnia and Herzegovina (13%) and USA (12,5%).
