Azerbaijani President allocated 1 million manats for creation of memorial complex of genocide in Guba.
For the purpose of making the world public aware of Armenian nationalists’ criminal actions in respect to Azerbaijan and perpetuation of the memory of genocide victims and keeping national memory of future generation President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has issued a decree on creation of the Memorial Complex of Genocide in the city of Guba.
The Presidential Reserve Fund of State Budget financed 1 million manats for these ends to Guba region’s executive power.
The Ministry of Finance was commissioned to ensure payment of financing.
In the beginning of past century following aggression and policy of mass ethnic cleansing of bandit Armenian-Dashnak group on the territory of Azerbaijan it was killed tens of thousands of innocent Azerbaijanians in Baku, Guba, Garabagh, Shemakha, Kurdamir, Salyan, Lankaran and other region of Azerbaijan. 122 villages in Guba alone were destroyed between April and May 1918.
