“Russia may become a super power again in 2010. Moscow wants to liberate Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and Azerbaijan from the influence of the West and Turkey, and plans to create a political block in the former Soviet geography.” The idea belongs to the Stratfor, an intelligence organization in United States which is also known as “shadow CIA.”
According to the report of ITAR-TASS, Stratfor Global Intelligence organization published a report that says Russia plans to increase its influence on former Soviet area and to become a super power in 2010.
The report said that the troubles of United States in Afghanistan and Iraq created an occasion for Russia to increase its influence in the former Soviet field. Report said, “Moscow plans to liberate Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and Azerbaijan from the influence of the West and Turkey, and plans to create a political block in the former Soviet geography.”
The report also told that U.S. focus on Muslim World will let Russia to follow a very independent policy inits near geography.
