DIASPORA ARMENIANS WANT TO VISIT TURKEY

"In fact Turkey and Armenia are very lucky countries. There are more than 7 millions of diaspora Armenians in the World and almost all of them preserve traditions of Anatolia," said Soyak.

Stating that Turkish and Armenian businessmen hold meetings every year with the hope of opening of borders, Soyak said that one of the meetings between Turkish and Armenian businessmen was hold with diaspora Armenians from Brazil, Canada and Argentina.

Soyak said, "At least 500 thousand diaspora Armenian visit Armenia. With the opening of borders, these people will visit Turkey for touristic and economic purposes."

Underscoring that tourism is necessary for development of the Eastern regions of Turkey, Soyak said that Turkey will also have a cheaper access to Russian market over Armenia with the opening of borders. Stating that Armenian diaspora in Russia is ready to cooperate, Soyak said that not only Armenian diaspora in Russia but Armenian diaspora in all over the World is a chance for Turkey.
