Spiritual leader of Catholic World Pope Benedict XVI praised the process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia in his traditional speech to 187 ambassador in Vatican.
Turkey’s ambassador to Vatikan Professor Doctor Kenan Gursoy was also among the ambassadors that Pope Benedict XVI adressed. Touching several issues during his speech, spiritual leader of Catholic World, Pope stated that Turkish-Armenian rapprochement pleases him. “Therefore contacts between countries in South Caucasus can be established in a healthier way,” said he.
