ASIMDER invites Aliyev to Igdir

Organization for Fighting Against Baseless Armenian Allegations (ASIMDER) in Igdir prepared 4 thousand brochures in five languages about the people of Khojaly village who were massacred by Armenian armed forces in 1992.

Head of the organization Goksel Gulbey said that they have prepared brochures in Turkish, English, Russian, French and German. Gulbey stated that ASIMDER wants to attract attention of people to the massacres that are committed by Armenians against Turkish people. Gulbey said, “Russian tanks entered Baku on January 20, 1990 and murdered hunderds of Azerbaijani people in Azadliq square who were demanding freedom of Azerbaijan. Besides, Armenians massacred 613 Azerbaijani people on February 26, 1992 in Khojaly. ASIMDER has prepared 4,000 brochures in five languages as a part ofmemorizing martyries of Khojaly. We are considering to distribute these brochures to the people of Igdir. Our organization has invited Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, his wife Mehriban Aliyeva and Azerbaijani Parliamentarian Ganira Pashayeva to the ceremonies for memorizing victims of Khojaly genocide in Igdir.”

Calling for attention to the cost of Armenian occupation to Azerbaijan, Gulbey said, "Armenians left so much damage in Azerbaijan through the occupation. The cost of Armenian occupation is veryheavy. They occupied 13,210 meter sqare of Azerbaijani soil.20,000 people were murdered and 49,000 people were wounded during the occupation. The cost of occupation for Azerbaijani state is 60 billion dollars. 1.2 Million Azerbaijani people had to leave their homeland. Those Azerbaijanirefugees struggling to live in tents since 17 years.
