E-mail Print PDF
There is a plan to hold Turkish film festival will be held in Armenia this year at initiative of the Caucasus Peacekeeping Initiatives Center.

According to Center director Georgy Vanyan, the Turkish films are now being selected and this stage will last until February 25. Short documentaries, animated films and game films are eligible.

The jurors will select seven best films to be presented to public. After watching the films, spectators will select the best one through voting. The Center organized such festival last year too. According to Vanyan, the results were satisfactory. “People displayed interest in these films and everyone took an active part in voting and the best film was selected by the result,” Vanyan said.

By preliminary results, the festival opening will be held in Yerevan in March and according to appeals from other citizens, the reviews will be organized there too. Applications have already been submitted from Noyemberyan, Kapan and Vanadzor.
