Georgia welcomes Turkey-Armenia relations’ normalization and possibility of border opening, Georgian Premier Nikoloz Gilauri stated at the 8th session of Armenian-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission for economic cooperation on Jan. 26.

According to him, Turkey-Armenia border opening will not affect cargo traffic tariffs.

“I deem the tariffs will remain unchanged, however the border opening will have a positive impact on diversification,” Gilauri outlined adding it will be beneficial for Georgia as well.
