E-mail Print PDF
As April comes closer, the issue of adoption of a so called Armenian genocide resolution in theU.S. Congress is once again on the agenda.

Turkey’s attitude on the issue is clear. Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu stated that Turkey does not expect such resolution to be adopted by U.S. Congress as it would wreck the process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia.

Evaluating recent developments in Turkey-Armenia relations in an interview on a private TV channel, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that Azerbaijan and Armenia have achieved progress in the Sochi meeting.

Ahmet Davutoglu saidthat Turkey expects Turkey-Armenia relations to take shape in accordance with the signed protocols.

Foreign Minister stressed that an accusation against Turkey in the U.S. Congress would put the process of normalization of relations with Armenia into an impasse.
