Meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu expressed Turkey’s concerns over the health of Turkey-Armenia normalization process after the release of detailed ruling of Armenian Constitutional Court about conformity of protocols to Armenian constitutional law.

Leaving for London to attend internationalAfghanistan summit in England, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu held a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Davutoglu once again voicedconcerns of Turkey over justified decision of Armenian Constitutional Court.

Davutoglu is also expected to meet Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian to discuss the issue. Ankara considers that Yerevan’s attitude over the issue of establishment of a joint historians committee damages the vision of peace which was aimed with the protocols.

Davutoglu is expected to meet Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Memmedyarov and inform him on the recent developments in the process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia.

Speaking to press about his meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Davutoglu said, “We shared our concerns. We also shared our concerns with Armenia. By signing protocols we aimed normalization of Turkey-Armenia relations, liberation of bilateral relations from prejudices and establishment of a comprehensive peace. We are firm on these visions. The ruling of Armenian court is restrictive. Our concerns should be eased.”
