“I am sure the process of normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations will have logical end.”
Turkey will ratify the Protocols signed in Zurich at least on April 23,Khosrov Haroutiunyan, Chairman of the Christian Democratic Party of Armenia, said in a press conference.
“I am sure the process of normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations will have logical end though this path is very thorny,” he said. He is sure that the statement by Turkish foreign minister regarding the decision of the Constitutional Court of Armenia on conformity of the Protocols to the Constitution of Armenia is just an attempt to “avoid” ratification of the documents.
The politician believes that Turkey will hardly be able to achieve that goal by linking opening of the border with the Karabakh process, for both the parties are interested in the success of the normalization process.
