E-mail Print PDF
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sarksyan said that closed borders in 21th century is “nonsense” and said that there is no alternatives for normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia.

Speaking at “Turkish-Armenian Relations” panel at U.S. Embassy in Yerevan, Tigran Sarksyan stated that there are no alternatives for normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia.

Underscoring the message of Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan to President Gul and the speech of Armenian President in London, Armenian Prime Minister said, "Armenian President’s speech proves that there is adequate political will for re-establishment of relations between Turkey and Armenia.

According to the report of Public Radio of Armenia, Sarksyan said that the normalization of relations between two countries should be evaluated in three levels;

“At the first levels we should see what authorities should do. At the second, we should see how our communities approach the current situation and how do they evaluate future of Turkish-Armenian relations. And at the third level, we should observe the reaction of World public opinion over Turkish-Armenian rapprochement and we should evaluate how the atmosphere in the region will change following the peace between Turkey and Armenia.”
