Submission of Protocols in Armenian parliament purely technical

The Armenian parliament will not discuss the Turkish-Armenian protocols unless Turkey ratifies them.

The Armenian parliament will not discuss the Armenian-Turkish protocols unless Turkey ratifies them, Galust Saakyan, head of the parliamentary faction of the Republican Party of Armenia, has said.

He said the submission of protocols to the country’s parliament is purely technical. “The Armenian parliament will never discuss the protocols unless Turkey ratifies them,” Saakyan said noting that all the reasonable terms have expired. “Our patience is exhausting. If Ankara further protracts the process, we will raise the issue of withdrawing signatures under the documents,” Saakyan said.
