Yerevan Diplomacy Between Turkey and United States

The Yerevan diplomacy between Turkey and United States has intensified again.

Making a phone call to U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton following his meeting with Foreign Minister of Burkina Faso Bedouma Alain Yoda, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutolgu said that Turkey attaches importance to continuation of Turkey-Armenia normalization process on its fundamental platform. Implying the resolution in the U.S. Congress towards recognition of so called Armenian genocide, Davutoglu said that Turkey believes that the new initiative in the U.S. may seriously damage efforts for Turkey-Armenia normalization. Davutoglu told Clinton that resolution will seriously damage the efforts Turkish-Armenian process.
