Armenian Parliament fails to discuss protocols

Armenian Parliament’s Foreign Relations Standing Committee did not initiate the discussions over Ankara-Yerevan protocols.

According to the report of News.am, following the heated debates, on the suggestion of chairman Armen Rustamyan, the committee decided to establish a working group that will consist of representatives from every political party in the Armenian parliament for a deeper analyse of Turkey-Armenia protocols towards establishment of diplomatical relations and opening of borders between two countries.

Foreign Relations Committee of Armenian Parliament also decided for not bringing discussion of protocols on the agenda of the parliament during the four days session that begins on February 22.

The committee announced that the next session will be held on March 12 but discussion of protocols in a special session is also possible.
