Murdered by Armenians in 1918, Mayor of Bayburt Hafiz Suleymen commemorated at his grave in the anniversary of his death.
Bayburt celebrates 92nd anniversary of liberation of the city from enemy occupation. Governor Kerem Al, Mayor H. Ali Polat and citizens attended to the ceremony for commemorating former Mayor of Bayburt Hafiz Suleyman Efendi who was murdered by Armenians 92 years ago. Prayers and recitation of Qoran in the mosques in the city center is held for the memory of one of the victims of Armenian atrocity in Anatolia, Hafiz Suleyman Efendi.
