E-mail Print PDF
The US Congress again intends to put the issue of the so-called “Armenian genocide” for consideration.

Milli Medjlis (Azerbaijani parliament) must voice protest to the US Congress due to the upcoming discussions of the mythical “Armenian genocide,” Mubariz Gurbanli, deputy of Milli Medjlis and deputy executive secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party, has told the next plenary session of the Azerbaijani parliament.

“The committee of international relations and interparliamentary ties of Milli Medjlis must send an official letter to the US Congress containing protest due to the discussions of the issue of the so-called ’Armenian genocide’ due on March 4,” he said.

The deputy also offered to send a deputy group to the United States to hold consultations with the US Congressmen saying that the discussion of the issue of the so-called “Armenian genocide” contradicts to the national interests of Azerbaijan.
