Stressing that the number of protest letters that are sent to the members of U.S. House of Representatives is not adequate despite the calls, Cinar said, “We should not remain insensitive to this issue.” Cinar said, “Making visits to the officials of State and media representatives related to the issue of so called Armenian genocide resolution is also very important. We cannot stay silent.Remaining silentis toward the interests of Armenians.”
Armenia intends to drive Turkey into a corner
Stating that it was surprizing for Armenian parliament to initiate discussions towards Zurich protocols despite the intensified pressure of Armenian diaspora in United States, Cinar said that Armenia intends to relieve the external pressure and make use of the situation that Turkey is in. “Although Armenia seems sincere to the World public opinion related to the protocols, it is clear to everybody that it does not mean Armenia will leave efforts towards international recognition of so called Armenian genocide,” said he.
Stating that Turkey should use the cards of the game properly, Cinar said that there will not be a final result in Turkey-Armenia process unless Nagorno-Karabakh problem and the issue of so called Armenian genocide is resettled. Stressing that Armenia intends to make operations in the text of protocols anddoing so to advertise Turkey as the country that withdraws from the protocols and therefore to contribute international recogition of Armenian allegations, Cinar said that Turkey is aware of the developments and will not fall into the trap of Armenia.
