E-mail Print PDF
American television channel CBS will broadcast a program that supports Armenian allegations related to 1915 events on February 28, days before Foreign Affairs Committee of U.S. House of Representatives discusses the resolution that recognizes so called Armenian genocide. American television had broadcasted a program about Turkey which included an interview with Fener Greek Patriarch Bartholomeos who said that he feels curicified in Turkey and claimed that Christians in Turkey are under pressure. American television channel is now preparing to air a show that supports Armenian genocide allegations.

TV show "60 Minutes" is being broadcasted since 1968, is going to focus on "Battle over History" between Turks and Armenians related to so called Armenian genocide allegations. The 42-second preview of the program shows bones that are found on a hill near euphrates river but also reminds that it is not known to whom those bones belong. In the description of the program it is stated that Armenians consider deportation in 1915 as their holocaust but Turks and U.S. government refuse to call it a "genocide". According to "Armenia Now", TV show will feature scholar on so called Armenian genocide, Peter Balakian.

Airing Armenian propaganda related to 1915 incidents, the program calls upon U.S. President to ensure foreign policy of United States to have an appropriate attitude concerning issues related to so called Armenian genocide.
