Devlet Bahcheli urge the Government to withdraw protocols from the parliament.
"I urge the Government to immediately withdraw the Armenian-Turkish protocols from the Parliament. What do Armenians need to be done again for the government to take the final decision?”, head of the National Unity Party Devlet Bahcheli told a session of his faction.
"The Armenians have pressed us to the wall with these protocols, and the United States use this and continue to blackmail us. This show continues each year. Then the US president speaks, and calms the Turkish public for another year saying he has not pronounced the word “genocide”. Is it not clear that the United States attempt to force Turkey's parliament to consider the notorious Protocols and decide on unilateral concessions to Armenia by such a blackmail?”, Bahcheli said.
"To settle all these questions once and for all, I again urge the Government to withdraw these protocols from the parliament as contrary to the interests of Turkey. I bow my head before the martyrs of Khojaly whom we commemorated a few days ago”, he noted.
