Azerbaijani parliament may send protest note to Sweden

E-mail Print PDF
Azerbaijan condemns recognition of the “Armenian genocide” by the Swedish parliament, Deputy Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (Parliament) Ziyafat Asgarov said.

He said the Azerbaijani parliament may send a protest note to the Swedish parliament.

“Double standards showed themselves once again. Azerbaijan's parliament appealed to the world's parliaments informing them about the fictional "Armenian genocide". But, unfortunately, this decision was made without getting objective information about it and not having studied history. We condemn it and call for justice and urge parliaments to make just decisions,” the Deputy Speaker added.
