First of all, I want to say this: There is no agenda item in the US about Turkey! Nobody is aware of the fact that Ankara is cross with US President Barack Obama due to an Armenian “genocide” resolution except for a few people in the US.
The US media do not have permanent reporters in İstanbul. Sometimes, remarks by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan regarding the Armenians make the news; however, the news is usually relegated to dailies’ back pages. Americans do not know alleged coup plots in Turkey like Balyoz (Sledgehammer) and Kafes (Cage), which have been on Turkey’s agenda. Except for members of the Congress regarding the Armenian “genocide” resolution and some Armenians living in California, nobody is aware of an Armenian “genocide” resolution.
