Turkey’s ambassador in Stockholm rejected a resolution over Armenian allegations adopted by the Swedish parliament earlier this month as “politically motivated,” a move which he said aimed to achieve winning vote in upcoming elections.

Swedish parliament adopted two week ago the resolution that affirmed Armenian allegations over the tragic incidents of 1915 in the Ottoman Empire, just a week after a U.S. House foreign affairs panel has approved a similar resolution.
