Armenia plays a game in the Armenia-Turkey relations, Chairman of the People's Socialist Party of Azerbaijan Rovshan Huseynov said.
He said parliaments of some countries may consider so-called "Armenian genocide" till April 24, when the world Armenian community commemorate this issue.
"This work is facilitated by the activities of the Armenian lobby around the world," Huseynov added.
"As for Turkey, it made a very big mistake by signing the Zurich protocols last year to normalize relations with Armenia. This was a step taken under the U.S. pressure. But Turkey has a large weight in Europe and this is a significant factor," the People's Socialist Party Chairman said.
"Regarding the current situation in Armenia, Yerevan is in a desperate situation. For example, today the relations between Armenia and Russia have much narrowed while Azerbaijan has reached an agreement on gas supplies with Russia. The situation in Armenia is deteriorating day by day,” the head of the party said.
"The world community understands that economic and military capabilities of Azerbaijan is better than that of Armenia. At the moment it is Azerbaijan who makes terms. Therefore, Armenia is ready to liberate occupied Azerbaijani territories,” he noted.
"We can say that the Azerbaijani diplomacy has won overArmenia. We just have to continue our work,” Huseynov added.
