Armenia's strategy and tactics are wrong as Armenian diaspora is after a dream. Diaspora Armenians are doomed to fail in their target of taking land and compensation from Turkey. Let's assume that 100 countries will recognize Armenian allegations till 2015.
Although so called Armenian genocide would be recognized by the parliaments, their dream of taking land and compensation from Turkey will remain as dream. On the other hand, United States will lose much thing if stays in the trap of Armenian diaspora. The statements of American Minister of Defence Robert Gates that, "Armenian resolution was a mistake", should not be seem as enough. Obama should make a promise related to this issue.
There are 180 thousand of Armenians in Turkey. 80,000 of them are Turkish citizens and 100,000 of them are illegal immigrant workers. In the recent years 1 million Armenians left their country to work abroad and another million wait for opening of borders to go abroad. Imperialist powers are making use of Armenians as they have been doing it since long time. And the party which lost was always Armenians' side. Turkey has to make bold steps against EU and US. As negotiations for EU membership continues, we need to strengthen ties and lead to Eurasia Union, Turkish World Union. We also need to strengthen economical and cultural ties with Islamic World.
Turkey expects Obama to apologize over passage of resolution of so called Armenian genocide from the Foreign Affairs Committee of U.S. House of Representatives. Parliaments are not places to make decisions related to historical incidents. The decision should be made by historians under the light of archives.
It was not brought on the agenda why Ottoman government made the decision of displacing "loyal nation" during the voting in Foreign Affairs Committee of U.S. House of Representatives. An Armenian expert, Alexander Iskandaryan had stated that Turkey is not going to recognize Armenian allegations by urge. Armenian allegations are voted in the U.S. House of Representatives 10 times till today.
