E-mail Print PDF
'Turkey adopted a process to normalize ties with Armenia.'

Turkish Republican People’s Party’s leader Deniz Baykal deeply condemned ruling “Justice and Development” party‘s amendment package represented to the Parliament.

“Why has the JDP been confused? The period of their ruling is coming to its end.” Baykal condemned the package which doesn’t define independence for the judicial field but to push it under the influence of civil authorities.

Turkish Cumhuriyet reported that Baykal has also referred to Armenian issue. “We’ve adopted a process to normalize ties with Armenia. Have we put end on Armenian occupation? Have the Armenians rejected their campaign of genocide recognition? We’ve got neither. We haven’t spared efforts, hence the process is failed.”
