Azerbaijani MP: We must appeal to the International Court for justice on Armenian terrorists
"We must try to raise awareness of people throughout the world that it is the Armenian nationalists who commit such a crime against humanity,” Azerbaijan’s former justice minister and member of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (Parliament) Ilyas Ismayilov said commenting on the genocide committed by Armenian nationalists against Azerbaijanis in 1918.
"I think we should gather all the materials that prove these events and file a suit against the Armenian terrorists of those years with the International Court. We must submit documents to prove that the Armenian terrorists have carried out similar attacks against us at all times,” the MP said.
"In these documents we need to specify occupied territories, to provide maps of the former Azerbaijani state in comparison to what the Republic of Azerbaijan has today. Because country’s territory has significantly reduced. All this must also be submitted the UN as well to show the real face of Armenian nationalists,” Ismailov added.
