It is reported that Turkish, Armenian and American leaders may meet in Washington in the occasion of Nuclear Security Summit next week in United States.
Russian and Armenian media reported that Obama may hold a tri-partite meeting with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan during the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington on April 12-13. Armenian press writes that Erdogan and Sarksyan may meet in Washington since weeks. In addition to this, an Armenian official in the governing Republican party stated that a Turkish-Armenian summit in Washington is very probable. Recent reports point that the meeting between Erdogan and Sarksyan may turn into a tri-partite meeting by attendance of Obama. Prime Minister Erdogan had stated that he will hold meetings with some leaders but he did not gave any specific name.
Azerbaijani press wrote that Obama will press Erdogan to not to set Karabakh problem as a precondition in the process of normalization of Turkey-Armenia relations. Yeni Musavat newspaper wrote that Azerbaijani officials called Turkish officials not to give up on Karabakh precondition.
