E-mail Print PDF
Armenian president Serj Sarkisian accused Turkey of demanding Armenia permanent concession and dragging out the recognition process of the made-up “Armenian genocide”.

Being asked about Turkey’s stipulation to open the Turkish-Armenian borders after the progress in Nagorno Garabagh conflict solution, Sarksyan said, "Turkey demands Armenia paramagnet concession, which is impossible. The most important issue is to render Nagorno Garabagh people the right for self-determination. Unfortunately, Azerbaijan wants to solve the problem by military force. Force usage will cause for Armenians’ expel from Daglig Garabagh”.

Touching upon turning down by Armenia Turkey’s proposal to set up the joint Turkish – Armenian commission on researching the history, Sarkisian said: “Such commission will not act objectively if the authorities pursue anyone for “genocide” term usage. Turkey’s intention is to drag out the process of recognition the made-up “Armenian genocide”. Setting up such commission means to cast doubt on obvious truth. The commission may be set up only after Turkey’s confession its faults. We always keep the Agri Dag pain in our hearts, however, no Armenian official never had the territorial claims to Turkey”.
