Russian Nezavisimaya Gazeta claimed that process of international recognition of so called Armenian genocide seems to be becoming irreversible when the developments in Turkey is taken into consideration.
Nezavisimaya Gazeta which is published by Izvestia, wrote that Obama administration expended energy for not letting Turkish-Armenian rapprochement process to stop but that Prime Minister Erdogan stated that Turkish-Armenian peace process may be stalled following the adoption of so called Armenian genocide resolutions in the parliament of Sweden and Foreign Affairs Committee of U.S. House. The newspaper wrote, "Many experts in Armenia stress that international recognition of "Armenian genocide" became irreversible. When the developments in Turkey is taken into consideration, these statements do not seem like so much optimistic."
