E-mail Print PDF
One of the largest Armenian churches in Anatolia is to be renovated.

After renovation, Surp (Saint) Yerortutyun’s Church in the town of Sivrihisar in the western Turkish province of Eskisehir is to be used as a cultural centre.

Sivrihisar mayor Fikret Arslan told Anatolia news agency on Wednesday that the town planned to restore many historical buildings, including the church, built in 1881, and an Armenian bathhouse.

The renovation of Surp Yerortutyun’s Church will be sponsored by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
