'Serzh Sargsyan can be blamed for many issues but it is wrong to say that he is a political suicide.'

If Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan makes territorial concessions in the Karabakh settlement, he will be terminated in just days, head of the union of political scientist Amayak Hovannisyan said.

Nevertheless, he noted that Serzh Sargsyan can be blamed for many issues but it is wrong to say that he is a political suicide.

In this connection, Hovannisyan does not consider it possible that Sargsyan will make such a compromise. “Sargsyan can be blamed for many issues, mostly connected to bloody events of March 1, but it is wrong to say that he is a kamikaze or political self-murderer. In case he makes any concessions, he will be terminated in just days”, the political scientist considers.

According to him, Ankara binds the progress in the Armenian-Turkish process to the development of the Karabakh conflict settlement. But Hovannisyan considers that the resolution of the Karabakh conflict by the Azerbaijani script will immediately bury the Armenian-Turkish process.
