Reactions Continue Against Recognition of Armenian Resolution in Sweden

It is reported that Kulu district in Konya city in Turkey plans to change the names of a street and Park which were named after Swedish politician Olof Palme as a reaction to recognition of so called Armenian genocide by Swedish Parliament.
Deputy Mayor of Kulu, Huseyin Dincer said that 35,000 Turkish citizen from Kulu live in Sweden and they are all disappointed of the decision of Swedish Parliament on 1915 incidents. Reminding Kulu Municipality gave a park and a street the name of Swedish politician Olof Palme who was assassinated 24 years ago, Dincer said that they may rename these places.
Dincer said, "There are 35 thousand Turkish citizen from Kulu in Sweden. The decision of Swedish Parliament disappointed Turkish people. We will send a letter to Swedish Embassy that reflects our disappointment related to the desision. We also may rename the park and street in Kulu which were named after Swedish politician Olof Palme who was assassinated 24 years ago. As Turkish citizens, we do not recognize people who recognize such a resolution."
