Armenian Youth Federation Urges Obama to Recognize Armenian Allegations

E-mail Print PDF
One of the Armenian organizations in United States, Armenian Youth Federation released a statement on Friday calling President Barack Obama to be loyal to his pledge and recognize so called Armenian genocide.
The statement, which released two weeks before April 24, which Armenians consider as the anniversary of so called Armenian genocide, called Armenians all over the country to rally in the major cities on April 24 to call U.S. Government to recognize allegations.
Reminding Obama of his pledge, Armenian Youth Federation's letter stated that Obama administration officials opposed passage of Armenian genocide resolution publicly and actively. Stating that they are going to protest Turkey's denial of Armenian allegations, the letter read, "This April 24th, Armenian Americans, from coast to coast, will take to the streets in protest. Once again, for yet another year, we ask you to stand by your campaign pledge."
