Holding an official visit to Azerbaijan following his visit to Armenia as the special envoy of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Foreign Ministry Deputy Undersecretary Feridun Siniroglu assured Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev that national interest of Azerbaijan will be taken into consideration in the contacts with Armenia.
Siniroglu repeated Aliyev the message of Erdogan in Azerbaijani language and said, "We are responsible of our promise to you. Do not worry." Delivering Erdogan's letter to Azerbaijani President, Siniroglu stated that Turkey has not change its opinion related to necessity of resettlement of Nagorno-Karabakh problem and said, "We want normalization with Armenia but we are going to look after Azerbaijan's interests. In our understanding, normalization includes resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh problem. We are responsible of our promise to you. Do not worry."
