’Armenian-Turkish border may open before the ratification of protocols’, Galust Saakyan said.

The process of normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations has already become inevitable and nothing will change regardless of whether the protocols are ratified or no.

The statement came from Galust Saakyan, chief of the parliamentary faction of the ruling Republican party of Armenia, speaking at a news conference in Yerevan.

’I think the Armenian-Turkish border may open before the ratification of protocols’, Saakyan said.

As for possible withdrawal of Armenia’s signature under the protocols, Saakyan considers that Armenia will do it if necessary.

At the same time, he noted that Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s visit to Washington was fruitful. ’This visit has united all Armenians and I think that our nation is as united as never before’, the Armenian deputy said.
