E-mail Print PDF
English The Economist magazine wrote that Turkey is left without support in the international arena in the Armenian issue.
Commenting on the recent developments in the Armenian issue, The Economist published an article entitled "Zero Progress: Relations Freezing Again" and wrote that Turkey left alone in the international arena in Armenian issue after Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan set resettlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as a precondition the day after signing protocols.
Claiming that Turkey is disagreeable on its relations with Armenia, the magazine wrote that Turkey used justified decision of Armenian Constitutional Court on protocols as an occasion to cut the process of normalization.
Stating that Turkey is left alone in the international arenai the article of The Economist magazine read, "Turkey's biggest ally, United States chosed the side of Armenia in this process. Russia is against setting resettlement of Nagorno-Karabakh problem as a precondition too. Washington also does not adopt this opinion."
Claiming that Washington will adopt so called Armenian genocide resolution if Turkish-Armenian normalization process wrecks, The Economist wrote that Turkey may shut down Incirlik military base in response.
