Armenian Diaspora Held Protest Demonstration in Front of Turkish Consulate General in Australia

Armenian diaspora in Australia, Sidney held a protest demonstration in front of Turkish Consulate General for the anniversary of so called Armenian genocide. On the other hand, Turkish and Azerbaijani diaspora gathered at the same place and shouted slogans to support Turkey waving the flags of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Australia. Despite the security measures of police, from time to time Armenian protesters clashed with police.
A group of Armenians that represent Armenian Youth Federation of Australia held a protest demonstration in front of Turkish Consulate General over so called Armenian genocide. Turkish and Azerbaijani diaspora also gathered at the same adress and they shouted slogans against baselles claims of Armenians. Turkish and Armenian diaspora representatives told Armenians that real genocide was committed by Armenians against Turkish people. Australian police took security measures to prevent to groups clash with each other.
Armenian diaspora in Australia holds protest demonstrations in front of Turkish Consulate General every year. This year, about 100 Armenians gathered in front of the consulate general and they shouted slogans against Turkey. Before the rally, Turkey's Consul General to Sidney Renan Sekeroglu called Turkish diaspora to stay calm and to not to respond provocations of Armenians.
