Azerbaijani lawmakers made some proposals during the discussion of current issues at the parliament On Tuesday.
MP Vahid Ahmadov expressed serious concern over the natural disasters and proposed to adopt special state program for elimination of the disaster results.
MP Ikram Israfil demanded to create opportunities for Musavat Party to hold meetings.
Siyavush Novruzov demanded the parliament to react the latest developments around the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, including recent attempts to defend the interests of aggressor country and pressures Azerbaijan faced recently. “We witness how they support the aggressor regime and the United States being a member of the OSCE Minsk Group becomes neutral during the discussion of the issue of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and how Turkey faces with pressure”.
Ali Ahmadov said there were no necessary actions towards the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno Karabakh. “Turkey’s actions give a dynamic to this issue. We are grateful to them. But there are some regrettable points in the activity of the co-chairs. They are against the Turkey’s statement about the opening of borders with Armenia only in the case of settlement of the conflict. The US action is not coordinated with their mediatory mission. This is not suitable for the image of the country, which takes the mission of fair country in the world”.
Igbal Aghazadeh said the upcoming parliamentary elections would face with some problems if the Electoral Code was not amended.
Vice Speaker Bahar Muradova said the Electoral Code didn’t need in amendments. He said the current Code secured democratic elections for many times.
Fazail Aghamali proposed to deprive the US oil companies of their shares and to review the contracts with them.
