The Armenian historians have been falsifying historical facts.
The Armenian side does not want to disclose the historical archives on the events that occurred in 1915 in the Ottoman Empire, deputy Ali Masimli told the next plenary session of the spring session of Milli Medjlis.
'It has long been proven that bloody events of the early 20th century on the territory of the Ottoman Empire killed 2,500.000 Turks and Armenians. These crimes occurred as a result of Armenians’ betrayal and Turks were the victims of it', he stressed.
However, he said, the Armenian historians have been falsifying historical facts for decades, giving the appearance that the events of 1915 killed 1.4 million rather than 500,000 Armenians.
'The Armenian side is deliberately slowing down the opening of historical archives, as otherwise the historic truth pops out, and the Armenians will lose fabulous profits that they earned over the decades as a result of the anti-Turkish propaganda', said A. Masimli.
