E-mail Print PDF
Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt stated that the attitude of Swedish government related to Armenian allegations is clear. "We are against judgement of historical incidents by politicians," said he.
Responding to the parliamentary question issued by parliamentarian Yilmaz Kerimo whether so called Armenian genocide resolution will be brought on the agenda of Swedish parliament again or not, Bildt said that it should not be surprising if government brings the resolution of the agenda of the parliament once again. "But it should be noted that making decision on this issue is in the authority of parliament," he added.
"Our government announced its attitude regarding to this issue clearly several times. Swedish government is against judgement of historical incidents by politicians," said he.
