Deputy Director of the Center of Caucasian Researches of Moscow State Institute of Foreign Relations Vladimir Zakharov stated that U.S. Pressure on Ankara administration over Turkey-Armenia normalization process will work. "The process will be activated after April 24," said he.
According to the report of PanArmenian, Zakharov said that the pressure Washington exerts on Ankara towards normalization of relations will work. "U.S. attaches importance to Turkish-Armenian relations," said he.
Stating that political factors were always efficient in the issue of so called Armenian genocide, Russian expert said, "Unfortunately, the decisive factor in Turkish-Armenian relations is politics. Because what underlie relations are political games and not the memory of people, a healthy resolution to the problem is not on the horizon."
