E-mail Print PDF
Deputy of the Turkish Grand National Assembly has commented on Armenia’s decision to suspend the process of ratification of protocols in parliament.

'Turkey has demonstrated its goodwill and even signed Zurich protocols under inappropriate conditions.  Armenia has rejected even this, thus demonstrating itself as an unserious state that does not respect its own signatures', Turkish deputy Reshat Dogru said commenting on yesterday’s decision of the Armenian president about suspension of the process of protocols ratification in the parliament.

'Armenia has not fulfilled a single obligation, disavowed the fictional ‘genocide’ and territorial claims to Turkey, liberated the occupied Azerbaijani lands. How can one have any deals which such a country after all? Therefore, I think Ankara should review its relations with this state', he noted.

As for whether US President Obama will recognize the so-called "Armenian genocide", the deputy recommended to the US president to listen to the relatives of the victims of Khojaly tragedy before making conclusions regarding the Armenian legends.
