Hulusi Kilic: World expects achievements on Karabakh conflict

E-mail Print PDF
The Turkish ambassador has commented on the Turkish-Armenian protocols.

“Turkey respects Armenia’s decision to suspend the ratification of protocols.” Turkish ambassador in Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic said Ankara adheres to awaiting position in this process.

“Now we are not commenting Armenia’s decision. It is necessary to demonstrate respect to this decision of Yerevan. However, we have recently stated that Turkey is loyal to spirit and content of these protocols. We expect the process to continue. On the other hand, the world is looking forward the achievements in the resolution of the Karabakh conflict. I hope the discussions on liberation of Azerbaijani lands and Karabakh settlement will continue before the discussions of the protocols are suspended. We believe in the establishment of peace and welfare in the region.”
