Turkey was careless about responding the allegations of Armenians

Giving a lecture entitled, "Armenian issue and media" in Yasar University (YU), Izmir, Strategist Ercan Citlioglu said, "Turkish Republic faces allegations of a genocide because of the years of carelessness."
Stating that allegations of Armenian genocide is baseless and no country can accuse Turkey committing a genocide, Citlioglu stated that there aren't enough books that support Turkey's thesis on 1915 incidents. Stating that for years Turkey behaved carelessly to respond Armenian allegations, Ercan Citlioglu claimed that there aren't books more than 10 that tells the truth over this issue. "Thousands of Armenians were sent to Syria. Government took precautions of health for the Armenians that were being displaced. Is it possible to accuse such a state of committing a genocide?," he said.
Stating that people who attacked convoys during the displacement were judged in the courts and prisoned, Citlioglu said, "There were even mobil hospitals to fight agaisnt diseases. When we know about these truths, we can understand how the allegations of Armenian genocide is baseless." Stating that nobody have the right to accuse Turkey of committing a crime against humanity Citlioglu said, "Our ancestors are being accused of committing a genocide. We should stand against this lie everywhere. Universities and NGO's have a crucial role in this issue."
