"Armenia's irreconcilable attitude poses an obstacle for the peace"

An England based Azerbaijani organization, UK Azeris Network (UKAN) held a meeting in Universiy College of London over Nagorno-Karabakh problem.
Director of Centre for Strategic Studies, Professor Elkhan Nuriyev said that Armenia's irreconcilable attitude poses an obstacle for the peace in the region.
Besides Prof. Elkhan Nuriyev, Azerbaijan's ambassador to England Fahreddin Kurbanov, academicians and experts attended to the meeting.
Calling for attention on the changing dynamics in South Caucasus, Professor Nuriyev informed the audience over recent developments in the region. Stating that resettlement of Nagorno-Karabakh problem is one of the foreign policy priorities for Azerbaijan, Nuriyev said that negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia is recently intensified.
Reminding that Baku recognized Madrid principles that were introduced by OSCE Minsk Group, Nuriyev said, "We are towards resolution of the problem via peaceful methods. But we are never going to make our territorial integrity questionable." Accusing Armenia over lack of the progress in talks, Nuriyev said that Armenia's irreconcilable attitude poses an obstacle for the peace in the region.
