Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan: “We do not expect any wrong step from Israel”

E-mail Print PDF
“We do not expect any wrong step from Israel”, Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic told journalists.

Responding to question on submitting so-called “Armenian genocide” to the Israeli Parliament, the ambassador said that historians should be responsible for this issue, not parliaments: “It is the decision of Israel. There are many sensible people in Israel, who are friends of Turkey. And that is why we don’t expect any wrong step from Israel”.

Touching upon the fortune of protocols signed between Turkey and Armenia, Kilic once more repeated that Turkey was always committed to the soul and text of those protocols: “We will wait a bit more. And then we will see what to do. We are waiting for a progress in the direction of solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict”.
