“There is no point waiting sooner restoration of normalization process of Turkey-Armenia relations”

“I don’t wait the normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations and immediate restoration of ratification process of protocols”, professor of the journalism faculty at Bilkant University David Barchard told.


“I think that international pressure still continuing for achievement of mutual understanding between Turkey and Armenia. But I don’t hope that this process will be restored soon. Here one must take into consideration public opinion in Turkey and situation over Nagorno Karabakh conflict”, he said. Speaking about Turkey’s representation at OSCE Minsk Group copresentation, expert said that it’s hard to tell Ankara can play decisive role in the solution process of the conflict in composition of the Minsk Group: “But if it realizes, Turkey of course can exert the opposite side”.
