The European Court of Human Rights continues hearing on the case of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

According to chief of the Igdir community for combat against groundless claims of Armenians Geksel Gulbey, the Azerbaijani side has submitted necessary documents about participation of Serzh Sargsyan in the Khojaly genocide.

“We have irrefutable facts about his participation in these massacres. We have sent the documents to Strasbourg. In addition, we have asked British researcher Tomas de Vaal also to present the facts regarding the Khojaly tragedy via the Turkish embassy in London,” Gulbey said.

“We hope the Strasbourg court will pass an objective decision on this case. Sargsyan who was a commander of troops that committed massacres in Khojaly in 1992 ordered to murder hundreds of people and took a personal part in this fight.

Therefore, Sargsyan must be condemned in the European Court of Human Rights. At the same time, we are going to apply with a claim against Sargsyan to the Hague court. We will continue our fight unless Sargsyan is punished,” said chief of the Igdir community on combat with groundless claims of Armenians.
